CUPCAKE SURPRISE DOLL BY EMCO

Image
I know I know, I promised to be regular to post. And here I am, posting two months after my last post. I am such a lazy bum.  But let’s all forget about all that and concentrate on our doll for today. Last year, when I was strolling around in a mall here in Bhubaneswar, I saw some weird looking packages with attractive illustrations in a shop. Upon close inspection I discovered each package had a giant, brightly coloured, pleasant smelling plastic cupcake in it. The box read “Cupcake Surprise Doll” and had instructions on how to transform the cupcake into a doll. I became curious and bought one for myself. Here’s how the package looked from front: FRONT These dolls are, as mentioned before, are Cupcake Surprise dolls by Emco. About Emco: I tried digging up more about Emco on internet. All I could find was it is an Indonesian company that has created toys like Pocket Morphers and Brix Racer. I did some more research and found that these dolls were earlier manufact...

MONSTER HIGH VINYLS: CLEO DENILE

I know I know, I screwed up again. I am posting after a month since my last visit. I have no excuse, except that I am be i ng lazy. I would have said I'd be regular in posting but, as apparent, I won't be sticking to my words. So lets skip that part and move on to the doll in focus. I was a fan of Monster High until they decided to re-design our favourite ghouls to look like Barbie. Here I would like to mention that sellers on Amazon import the dolls not available in India from the US. So after adding the shipping and other charges...

OK, so I have not been very regular to this blog. My first post was way back in November-2015 and I haven’t visited it ever since. I am really sorry for that. I will try my best to be regular in posting, but please bear with me if I don’t. Well enough of that. Let us start our review. I chose The Big Bang Theory toy for my first review because it is one of my favourite shows on TV. The toy in question here is made by an American company named Funko. About Funko: Funko is an American company that makes licensed pop-culture TV/movie collectible toys. It was founded in 1998 by Mike Becker as a bobblehead company who wanted to bring nostalgia-themed toys back to mainstream. In 2005 Funko was sold, which is now headed by Brian Mariotti as its president (kind of reminds me of Polly Pocket being acquired by Mattel). And now, besides toys, Funko also sells other products like USBs, T-shirts, headphones, lamps etc, all themed. About product: The “Funko Pop” line is vinyl figurines...
